The Indian stock market continued its downward trend for the third consecutive session today (April 16). The Nifty 50 index began down at 22,125 level and reached an intraday low of 22,103 mark, resulting in a loss of roughly 650 points in only three days. During the course of three sessions, the BSE Sensex saw a loss of around 2,184 points, beginning at 72,892 and reaching a low of 72,814 during the course of the trading day. In today’s trading session, the Bank Nifty started at 47,436 and then proceeded to reach its lowest point of the day, which was 47,316.

In just three trading sessions, stocks have called down many steps


The Nifty 50 index dropped by almost 650 points during the course of the previous three days, the BSE Sensex dropped by around 2,200 points, and the Bank Nifty index dropped by 2,700 points. Meanwhile, the small-cap index has increased by about one percent, while the mid-cap index has increased by approximately forty percent.
