After cancelling the fully-subscribed Adani Enterprises’ Rs.20,000-crore FPO, billionaire Gautam Adani said, “For me, the interest of my investors is paramount…everything [else] is secondary.” Speaking in a video message on Thursday, he said the decision may have “surprised many”. He added that given the market volatility, the board decided it wouldn’t be “morally correct” to proceed with the FPO.
